I finally settled in and organized again. So here is my 4th week of groceries. Now that I have a freezer that doesn’t burn everything, I’m going to try some OAMC recipes. According to recipezaar this (and a few things from my pantry) should be enough to make 9 dishes totaling 60 servings. That includes a gratin, vegetarian "meatballs", 2 pasta dishes, 4 soups, and a chili. I hope to try a new one each night and freeze the leftovers as I go.
This weeks groceries totaled $31.58.

Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (Vitamix)
This one was posted at Incredible Smoothies today in celebration of National Ice Cream Day! This is just adjusted to use common ingredients.
2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup frozen cherries
2 Tablespoons water
1 Tablespoon chocolate chips
Add bananas, cherries, and water to blender and process until smooth. Put in freezer 15-30 minutes if desired to allow to set. Top with chocolate chips.
